2010 Sequoyah Award Presentation at OLA 2011
The 2010 Sequoyah Book Awards ceremony was held in Tulsa during the Oklahoma Library Association Pre-Conference at the Southern Hills Marriott on March 30, 2011. Gary Paulsen won the Sequoyah Children's Book Award for Lawn Boy. He was presented the award and librarians and teachers brought many of their students to attend this event. Unfortunately Neal Shusterman and Jay Asher could not attend, although Neal Shusterman was present, with Paulsen, at the Sequoyah Luncheon on Thursday.
