The purpose of the GOLD Leadership Committee is to inspire and develop future leaders for the Oklahoma library community. The Committee sponsors workshops, sessions and the annual OLA Conference, and oversees a leadership institute every 3 years.
The next leadership institute will be November 3rd-5th 2010 at the Noble Foundation in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The 2010 institute will be the 3rd sponsored by the Leadership committee. The 1st Institute was held in 2004 with the second following in 2007.
