The OLA Constitution and Bylaws Committee
Our committee's work involves maintaining OLA's basic documents, the Constitution and Bylaws, and the OLA .
We prepare revisions at the direction of the Executive Board and the President, and recommend changes we think necessary to the President and Executive Board. We cooperate with the division and committee chairs in revising the OLA Handbook.
We also oversee the submission of proposed changes in the Constitution, the Bylaws to a vote of the membership.
We report to the Executive Director each year, one month before the Annual Conference.
Any current OLA member who wishes can volunteer by submitting a committee preference form, available on the OLA Website. Volunteers are welcome!
